Search for a men’s wallet in Bangladesh and you’ll find big shoe brands, small online leather makers and newer brands selling wallets with tech built in. Prices start under ৳700 and go past ৳3,000 for everyday wallets, and the listings don’t always say what the wallet is made of.

This guide compares the men’s wallet brands you can actually buy in Bangladesh. We looked at each brand’s own website or official listings and noted what they sell, what they say about the leather, what they charge and where you can buy. Where a brand doesn’t publish something, we say so instead of guessing.

Quick answer

For a basic leather wallet under ৳1,500, Bata, SSB Leather and Urbaland all have options, with SSB Leather and Urbaland stating leather or cowhide on most listings. Apex and its Venturini line sit mostly between ৳990 and ৳2,700. For full grain leather with features like RFID blocking and an NFC contact chip, Ventro charges around ৳2,750 to ৳3,000 and states a multi-year warranty. WildWoven focuses on slim and front pocket wallets in full grain, vegetable tanned leather. The right pick depends on your budget, how you carry your wallet and whether you want extra features.

How we compared the brands

We checked five things for each brand:

  • Price range. The prices listed on the brand’s own site or an official retail listing in November 2026. Prices change and discounts are common, so treat these as a snapshot.
  • What the leather is. Only what the brand itself states. If a listing doesn’t name the material, we don’t assume it.
  • Warranty. Only where the brand publishes one.
  • Range. Whether they sell bifold, long wallets, card holders and other styles.
  • Where to buy. Their own stores, website or other shops.

We have not tested every wallet by hand, and this is not a ranking. It is a side-by-side view to help you shortlist.

Apex and Venturini

Apex is one of the biggest footwear and leather goods retailers in Bangladesh, with showrooms across the country. Its wallets are sold under the Apex name and its Venturini line.

On apex4u.com, most men’s wallets cost between ৳990 and ৳2,690. Long wallets from Venturini run from about ৳1,990 to ৳3,990, and one high-end Venturini long wallet is listed at ৳25,000. The cheapest Apex wallet we found, at ৳990, is described as genuine leather. Many of the other listings don’t name the material, so ask in store or check the product page before you buy.

Good for: buyers who want to see and touch the wallet in a showroom before paying, and who like having a familiar brand behind the purchase.

Bata

Bata sells wallets under its own name and its Ambassador and Hush Puppies labels. On batabd.com, men’s wallets range from ৳699 to ৳1,499. The ৳699 Bata Economy wallet and a ৳1,299 Bata wallet are described as genuine leather. Several other listings, including some Ambassador wallets, don’t state the material.

Bata’s range leans toward simple bifolds and a few long wallets rather than card holders or slim designs.

Good for: a low-cost everyday wallet from a store you can find in most towns.

SSB Leather

SSB Leather is a Bangladeshi leather goods brand that sells online and through marketplaces like Othoba. Its men’s wallets are some of the lowest priced on this list, from ৳650 for a small card wallet to ৳1,350 for a multifunction wallet. Every wallet listing we saw says leather, and a few specify oil pull-up leather, a finish that changes colour slightly when the leather bends.

The range is wide: bifolds, long wallets, card holders and passport covers. The site shows an “Easy Return” badge with a separate return policy page. [RESEARCH REQUIRED: SSB Leather return and warranty terms]

Good for: buyers who want a leather wallet on a tight budget and plenty of styles to choose from.

Urbaland

Urbaland is a Bangladeshi brand selling wallets, card holders, belts and travel accessories. Its wallets we found cost around ৳880 for the Roy bifold and ৳1,000 for the Jason long wallet, which is listed as 100% cowhide leather. A 2023 feature in The Business Standard described an Urbaland card holder at ৳690 and a passport holder in full grain cowhide.

Urbaland’s own site accepts cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad and cards, and mentions an easy returns process. [RESEARCH REQUIRED: Urbaland return and warranty terms]

Good for: a cowhide wallet around ৳1,000 with modern, minimal designs.

WildWoven

WildWoven makes slim wallets, front pocket wallets, card holders and passport holders. A 2022 Business Standard feature described its front pocket wallets as full grain, vegetable tanned leather, with prices from ৳380 for a card holder to ৳1,260 for a passport holder at the time. Current prices on the website are shown in a different currency, so check them in Taka before ordering. [RESEARCH REQUIRED: current WildWoven prices in Taka]

Vegetable tanned leather is tanned using natural tannins from plant material. It usually starts firmer and darkens more with use than chrome tanned leather.

Good for: people who carry a wallet in a front pocket and want something thin.

Ventro

Ventro sells full grain leather wallets with built-in technology. Its Genesis Core wallet costs ৳2,750 and its Heritage Ember wallet, made from crazy horse leather (full grain leather with a heavy wax finish), costs ৳2,990. Both include an NFC chip that shares your contact details when tapped against a phone, plus RFID blocking.

Ventro’s product pages state a 3 year warranty covering the leather, stitching and structure. One page also shows a 1 year warranty badge, so confirm the term before buying. Some models were marked sold out when we checked.

Good for: buyers who want full grain leather and features like RFID blocking and NFC, and are happy to pay more.

REY

REY is a Bangladeshi leather brand that makes wallets and belts and sells across Bangladesh through reybd.com. Every order can be opened and checked at your door before you pay, payment is cash on delivery or bKash, and REY offers a 7-day exchange.

REY wallets are made from 100% genuine leather and cost ৳700 to ৳2,000, depending on the style. A card holder wallet is being added to the range.

Good for: buyers who want a genuine leather wallet between ৳700 and ৳2,000, with an open-box check and cash on delivery anywhere in Bangladesh.

Which brand suits which buyer?

There is no single best wallet brand. The right one depends on what you need:

  • Under ৳1,000: Bata’s Economy wallet, SSB Leather’s bifolds and card wallets, and Urbaland’s Roy bifold.
  • Around ৳1,000 to ৳2,000: Apex, Venturini, SSB Leather’s multifunction wallets and Urbaland’s long wallet.
  • Over ৳2,500 with extra features: Ventro’s NFC and RFID wallets.
  • Slim or front pocket carry: WildWoven, plus card holders from SSB Leather and Urbaland.
  • Want to see it before you buy: Apex and Bata, which have physical stores across the country.

If you’re unsure which style suits you, our guide to types of wallets for men explains bifold, trifold, long wallet and card holder designs.

Leather terms you’ll see on wallet listings

Brands in Bangladesh describe their leather in different ways, and the words matter:

Close-up of smooth, pebbled and oiled leather finishes used for wallets
Smooth, pebbled and oiled finishes look different but can all be genuine leather.
  • Full grain leather keeps the whole top layer of the hide. It is the strongest grade and develops a darker, richer colour with use. Ventro and WildWoven use this term.
  • Top grain leather has its surface lightly sanded for a smoother, more even look. It is still durable but ages less visibly.
  • Genuine leather means it is real leather, but in the trade the term is often used for lower grades cut from deeper layers of the hide. Several Apex and Bata listings use it.
  • Cowhide tells you the animal, not the grade. A cowhide wallet can be full grain, top grain or a lower grade.
  • Oil pull-up and crazy horse are finishes. The leather is treated with oils or wax, so it lightens where it bends and builds character over time.
  • Vegetable tanned describes how the hide was tanned, using plant tannins instead of chromium salts.

If a listing uses none of these words and only says “leather style” or nothing at all, ask before buying. Our guide to types of leather explains each grade in more detail.

What to check, whatever brand you choose

A brand name is a starting point, not a guarantee. Before you pay, check these:

Close-up of a tight stitched seam joining two pieces of brown leather
Whatever the brand, check for tight, even stitching like this.
  1. The material line. Look for “genuine leather”, “full grain” or “cowhide”. If the listing doesn’t say, ask. Words like “PU”, “synthetic” or “leatherette” mean it isn’t leather.
  2. The edges. Real leather edges look fibrous or are painted and polished. A fabric layer showing at the edge points to synthetic material.
  3. The stitching. Even, tight stitches with no loose threads, especially at the corners and card slots.
  4. The exchange policy. Know how many days you have and whether the delivery charge is refunded.
  5. The open-box check. If the shop allows it, open the parcel and look over the wallet before paying the delivery person.
